About Me

I'm Kev, owner of Alpha Suds Mobile Vehicle Valeting.  A proud Grandad and retired IT Manager who after 20 years in the industry, decided to leave the stress behind and adopt the "work to live" rather than the "live to work" attitude by turning my passion for cleaning cars into my day job.  I am a huge petrolhead and have a passion for classic cars, fast cars and motorsports. Since the age of 12, I have always kept my own (yes although I couldn't legally drive, I had a Morris Marina when I was 12...), friends, and family vehicles spotlessly clean, even if they didn't need doing!  A clean car is one of the things I live for the most, other than family (although neighbours joke I should be married to my cars not my Wife!). Don't worry, she loves cars too!  We've owned a number of cars over the years, all of which had lives of luxury.  Our current "rides" are an Audi A6 Avant V6, a Porsche 987 Boxster, and an MGF.  These are all my pride and joy, and can be seen gleaming away in the gallery.  It's often been said that I should do to others vehicles what I do to my own, so here I am!  I'd like to meet many more like minded, and not so like minded lovely people during my time as a mobile vehicle valeter.  Hope to meet you soon!
